Why do Permabond no longer deliver to the EU & Rest of World?
Significant increases in shipping costs and recent VAT changes, have made shipping small quantities of adhesive overseas, uneconomic for our customers, particularly for some of our products which are classed as hazardous for transport. We have therefore, taken the difficult decision to suspend shipments to the EU and ROW via our webshop, instead referring our customers to local distributors who will be able to supply our products more economically and efficiently. Why do Permabond no longer deliver to remote areas and islands of the UK?
Permabond will deliver to the following locations:
*Isle of Wight
*Channel Islands (Jersey & Guernsey)
*Isle of Man
*Scotland - remote areas
... but shipping complexities mean that we will need to get quotes from couriers on an
order-by-order basis. Please call our Customer Service Team here or email them from here
They will be able to take your order over the phone, get a quote for the shipping and process your payment with an accurate shipping charge.
How can I save my delivery address and bank details for future purchases?
Click "Shop Log in" in the middle, at the top of the home page. This will take you to a black screen asking you to log in. If you have not done this before, under the words "Log In", click on: "sign up" in blue.
This will take you to a virtually identical screen where you can enter your email and create a password for your profile, then click on the button at the bottom: "sign up".
We will receive an email to process your request – please note that if you are signing up outside of normal office hours, your request will be processed on the next available working day.
Can I use a UK based Freight Forwarder?
If delivering to a UK mainland based freight forwarder, for onward shipment, the customer assumes responsibility for all order tracking, customs charges and tariffs relating to the onward shipment.
How long will deliveries take?
Goods are normally despatched within 48 hours.
If we are unable to despatch your order within this period, we will contact you by e-mail to inform you of the revised despatch date. Once your order has been despatched, the delivery time will depend on the courier who is providing the delivery and on the product and location it is being delivered to. Christmas break information.
Please place orders before the 21st December 2021, for dispatch on the 22nd December 2021.
