• Single component epoxies require a heat cure (via oven, infra-red heat or by induction coil)

• Different viscosities and gap-fill available

• Very high shear strength

• Excellent long-term environmental durability

• Can be applied by hand or by automated dispensing equipment for high speed production line.

EPOXY ADHESIVES CAN BE USED TO BOND:

• Steel, aluminium, zinc and other metal alloys

• Composites such as GRP, FRP and carbon fibre

• Magnets and ferrites

• Some high temperature plastics e.g. PBT

• Tungsten carbide

• Diamonds (e.g. diamond cutting tips)

ES550 Toughened high viscosity epoxy adhesive

ES558 Toughened, flows at high temperature during cure

ES560 Low viscosity penetrating. Good for coating.

ES562 White, wicking grade

ES566 Low temperature curing, good for plastics

ES569 Non-slump gap filling adhesive

ES578 Good thermal conductivity

ES5501 Rapid heat cure

ES5504 High temperature resistant grade

ES5681 Composites bonding grade

ES5691 White, high viscosity adhesive

ES5748 PBT bonding grade

Epoxy adhesive can be used to replace welding, brazing, riveting or mechanical fastenings - this makes production processes a lot easier and cost-effective. Bonding with epoxy can also improve the component appearance and performance (better stress distribution and no damage to the substrates).
