Permabond's 2-part epoxy adhesive comprise resin and hardener which cure at room temperature to form high strength bonds to a wide variety of materials. Automotive Adhesives for interior and exterior vehicle applications and parts manufacture. Anaerobic adhesives are used for locking, retaining and sealing applications as well as gasketing – e.g. sealing gearboxes and retaining bearings. Adhesives have to withstand hot oil, glycol, and a wide temperature range. Automotive interior trim is often bonded with adhesive, often requiring low odour / no residual odour adhesives and also requirements to bond “hard to bond” plastics such as certain polyolefin blends. Auto exterior applications include bonding composite materials, polypropylene and other materials. Adhesives must be high strength, vibration resistant and capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions.

Glass Industry Crystal clear adhesives for bonding glass or glass to metal / other materials. Products cure in seconds when exposed to UV light so offer a quick and easy method of bonding glass. No mixing is required and their crystal clear, non-yellowing formulations give an excellent aesthetically pleasing finish, as well as offer extremely high strength performance. Bonding glass is a great way of adding hinges, profiles, fixtures and fittings without having to drill the glass – reducing chance of breakage, minimising processing time, and helping maintain the integrity of the glass pane. Also, the adhesive can be used to create a 100% seal against leaks or moisture ingress. Permabond also offers clear two-component structural acrylic adhesive which can provide high performance adhesion onto glass and other substrates, while still maintaining a pleasing visual finish. Permabond MS359 Clear is a crystal-clear MS Polymer adhesive which is applied in a similar way you would a bathroom sealant. It gives a clear flexible bond and works extremely well on glass. Delivery information Why do Permabond no longer deliver to the EU & Rest of World? Significant increases in shipping costs and recent VAT changes, have made shipping small quantities of adhesive overseas, uneconomic for our customers, particularly for some of our products which are classed as hazardous for transport. We have therefore, taken the difficult decision to suspend shipments to the EU and ROW via our webshop, instead referring our customers to local distributors who will be able to supply our products more economically and efficiently.
